Foster Puppies Find Their Forever Home

Some good news from the foster side of our work.

The puppies that Liz and Sean have been fostering have grown up, and this week they went to their forever home together. Anyone who has fostered will know that mix of feelings: relief, pride, and a small ache at saying goodbye to animals you have fed, cleaned up after, and worried over for weeks.

These puppies did not start life with much going for them. They needed a safe place to grow, basic care, and time before they were ready for a home of their own. That is exactly what fostering gives an animal, and it only works because someone is willing to open their house and their routine to an animal in need.

It is this kind of quiet, ongoing support that keeps animals in the south of Mauritius off the street and gives them a real chance.
