Many ways to help — all of them meaningful
The work we do depends entirely on the support of people who care.
Because needs change constantly, flexibility matters. Sometimes funding is most urgent. At other times, food, medication, transport, or extra hands make the biggest difference. Every contribution — big or small — helps us respond where it’s needed most.
Financial support
Donations allow us to act quickly and responsibly.
Funds are used where they are most needed at the time, including:
- Sterilisation campaigns
- Veterinary treatment and emergency care
- Medication and parasite control
- Food for known stray dogs and cats
- Transport and recovery support
If you would like your donation to support a specific aspect of our work — such as sterilisation, food, medical care, or even a particular dog or cat in need — you are welcome to let us know. We do our best to honour such requests whenever possible.
Flexible financial support also allows us to adapt to real conditions on the ground and respond when situations arise unexpectedly.
Food and supplies
Donations of dry dog and cat food are always welcome and greatly appreciated.
We also rely heavily on parasite control and basic medical supplies, including:
- Bravecto
- NexGard
- Simparica
- Deworming tablets (such as Yum Tabs)
These treatments are especially valuable because they are flavoured tablets that dogs and cats will eat like food, making them far easier to administer to street animals than spot-on treatments. A single dose typically provides protection for a full month, helping to control parasites effectively and prevent more serious health issues.
These products make a significant difference to the comfort, health, and long-term wellbeing of the animals we care for.
Items for fundraising
We regularly raise funds through markets, flea markets, and community events.
Donations of good-quality, desirable items that can realistically be sold — such as clean household goods, accessories, books, or small collectibles — directly support our work by helping us generate funds for sterilisation and medical care.
To help us use our time and storage space effectively, we kindly ask that donated items be clean, complete, and in saleable condition. If you’re unsure whether something is suitable, please feel free to ask — we’re always happy to advise.
Volunteer involvement
Time and presence matter just as much as money.
We welcome volunteers who can help with:
- Regular feeding routes
- Assisting during sterilisation days
- Transporting animals when needed
- Helping at fundraising events
- Occasional hands-on support when situations arise
No special skills are required — just reliability, compassion, and a willingness to help where possible.
One small action can make a difference
You don’t have to do everything.
Whether you donate, volunteer, spread the word, or simply help in your own neighbourhood — it all contributes to change. When people choose to care for the place they live and the animals around them, progress becomes possible.
Thank you for being part of that effort.
If you’d like to support our work or get involved, please get in touch — we’d love to hear from you.
