Community support helping prepare puppies and adult dogs for future sterilisation

Regular feeding in Mahebourg remains an important part of our work, especially in areas where puppies and adult dogs are living on the street.

Thanks to the kind food donations from Judy Montessori Primary School, we were able to feed several stray puppies and adult dogs in this area, ensuring they receive basic nourishment and allowing us to monitor their condition more closely.

Consistent feeding does more than meet immediate needs. It helps us keep track of individual animals, assess their health, and plan next steps. The dogs living in this area are already identified and will be prioritised for sterilisation at our next scheduled campaign, helping prevent further litters and reduce long-term suffering.

We are very grateful for this community support. Contributions like these allow us to combine day-to-day care with forward planning — addressing immediate needs while working toward lasting solutions.
