A Good Morning at the Carboot Sale

Four women in matching black tank tops stand at an outdoor charity stall with clothes and donated goods on tables

Today's carboot sale was a proper success.

We set up this morning not knowing quite what to expect, but the support from the community made it worthwhile. Tables sold out, conversations happened, and a bit more was raised for the sterilisation work we do in the south of Mauritius.

In between it all, a few hungry dogs turned up looking for scraps, and of course we fed them. It's a small thing, but it matters — these are the same streets and neighbourhoods we're trying to make a bit safer and kinder for animals like them.

Thank you to everyone who came, bought something, or just stopped to chat. Days like this keep the campaign going.
